EAGLE X XLANTIS
— OFFICIAL RULEBOOK

Please read the following guidelines carefully.

1. Format Overview

  • Mode: Battle Royale (Squad), PUBG-style, played on a FiveM PUBG/Battle-Royale gamemode/resource.
  • Team Size: 10 players per team (Main Roster) + up to 2 Substitutes = 12 max registered per team.
  • Substitutes: Must be registered before the tournament begins. A substitute may only be swapped in between matches, never mid-match.
  • Match Structure: Multiple matches (3) played across the tournament, with points aggregated across all matches to determine the overall winner (Placement Points + Kill Points system, standard PUBG-style scoring).

2. Team & Player Eligibility

  • Roster Submission: Each team must submit a final roster of 10 starters + up to 2 subs before the registration deadline. No changes to the roster are allowed after this deadline except for emergency substitutions approved by the tournament admin.
  • Single Team Registration: Each player may only be registered to one team for the entire tournament.
  • Discord & IGN: All players must join the official tournament Discord and use their registered in-game name (IGN) matching the roster sheet.
  • Punctuality: Players must be present and ready (loaded into the lobby) at least 10 minutes before the scheduled match start. Repeated late arrivals may result in point deductions or disqualification of the late player for that match.
  • Voice Channels: All players must be within the Official Discord Voice Channel for the duration of the match.
  • Minimum Roster: Minimum roster to start a match is 7 of 10 players. Teams dropping below this due to disconnects/no-shows forfeit points for that match at admin discretion.
  • Age Requirement: Players must be 16 years old or over the age of 16 at the time of registration.

3. Scoring System

  • Placement Points: Awarded to the team based on final rank when eliminated/won.
  • Kill Points: 1 point per confirmed kill, credited to the team. Knock-downs do not count as kills; only the finishing blow counts. Team-kills, suicides, and environmental deaths (fall damage, drowning, vehicle self-destruction) do not award kill points.
  • Final Standings: Total Points = Sum of Placement Points + Kill Points across all matches.
  • Tiebreaker Order: (1) Total Kills → (2) Best single-match placement → (3) Head-to-head record → (4) Sudden-death rematch.

4. Match Rules

  • Zone/Circle: Standard shrinking play-zone mechanics apply. No player or vehicle may remain outside the safe zone once the final warning phase begins — damage ticks apply as per gamemode defaults.
  • Drop Rule: All teams must parachute/drop from the designated start point simultaneously; no early drops or pre-positioning before the plane/drop sequence begins.
  • Circle Camping / Zone Rushing: Permitted as a legitimate strategy — no penalty for late rotations, as long as players don't exploit map bugs to bypass zone damage.
  • Vehicles: All vehicles must be sourced in-world (no personal garage/spawned vehicles unless the gamemode explicitly allows spawning). Use of admin/mod vehicle spawning by players is strictly forbidden.
  • Weapon/Loot Spawns: Loot is random per the gamemode's loot table. No player may request specific loot from admins. Loot spawn exploits/duplication bugs must be reported immediately, not abused.
  • Safe Zones/Buildings: No glitching into unreachable/out-of-bounds areas, rooftops not normally accessible, or under-map spaces. Any location reachable only via bug/glitch is banned and will result in team DQs.
  • Downed State: Standard 'knocked/downed' revive mechanics apply per gamemode. Finishing an enemy while they're reviving a teammate is legal.
  • Friendly Fire: Off within a team by default. If your gamemode has FF enabled, intentional team-killing results in an immediate DQ of the offending player for that match.
  • Communication: Teams may only communicate with their own 10 players. Comms with opposing teams or spectators during a live match (stream-sniping, coaching from outside) is forbidden.

5. Banned Conduct

  • Cheating/Exploits: Aimbot, ESP/wallhacks, speedhacks, no-clip, god mode, any third-party injector or modified client, third-party software/programs.
  • Exploiting Game Bugs: Intentional use of known/unknown/accidental map holes, invisible walls, infinite ammo/health glitches, duplication glitches.
  • Stream Sniping: Using an opponent's live stream to gain positional/strategic advantage.
  • Smurfing/Ringers: Playing under a false identity or using an unregistered/paid player not on the roster.
  • Griefing/Team Sabotage: Intentionally feeding kills to enemies, blocking teammates, or sabotaging your own team's chances.
  • Toxic Conduct: Hate speech, harassment, doxxing, or threats toward players/admins in voice or text chat — zero tolerance, immediate removal/DQs.
  • Penalty Tiers: Warning (minor rule breaks), Point Deduction (repeated minor violations), Match Forfeit (offending player/team forfeits all points for the current match), Tournament Disqualification (cheating, exploiting, harassment, or a 3rd major offense).

6. Substitutions & Disconnects

  • Between Matches: Free substitution from the 2 registered subs at any point between matches.
  • Mid-Match Disconnect: A disconnected player may reconnect within a grace period (3-5 minutes). If unable to reconnect, the team plays a player down with no substitution mid-match.
  • Admin-Caused Disconnects: If a server crash or admin error causes a full-lobby disconnect, the match is voided and replayed from the start.

7. Match Scheduling & Technical

  • Recording: All matches should be recorded (OBS or in-game) by all players in the team. The recording must activate from the joining of the Official Discord Voice Channel till the end of the Match (Closure of Server).
  • Recording Contents: Must include Task Manager and show open processes/programs, full gameplay uncut and uninterrupted, and voice/gameplay audio (desktop and game audio).
  • Failure to Submit: Failure to submit the Recording as required by the team will result in DQ from the event. In the event of a cheating allegation, failure to submit the required POV Recording will result in a guilty verdict substantiated by the PC Check conducted.
  • Match Delay Policy: Matches start on time. A grace period of 10 minutes is allowed for technical issues; beyond that, the match proceeds without the delayed team unless an admin grants an extension.

8. Disputes & Admin Authority

  • Time Limit: Any rule dispute must be raised to a tournament admin within 15 minutes of the match ending, with evidence (clip/screenshot/recording) if possible.
  • Final Authority: Tournament admins have final authority on all rulings, including scoring corrections, replays, and disqualifications.
  • Appeals: Admin decisions can be appealed once, in writing, to the tournament organizer/head admin — final decision is binding.
